- This is a cute vehicle. For something so small, and actually the first made was 2 wheel drive, this is a VERY good vehicle off road. James May (Yes Top Gear is unreliable) managed to drive one across a desert. No mean feat, but it was James at the wheel.

- I don't think that was being off-road friendly! NOT GOOD!
- You're not going to get "good" fuel consumption (assuming you mean when compared to normal driving) in any 4x4 when tackling those conditions though to be honest.
The main concern if you have to floor it / drive aggressively to make progress is if you cause damage to the vehicle. - Take rock crawling for example; better to actually crawl over rocks slowly than to bounce the vehicle over them and risk smashing it up.
- So all in all, if you don't want to get stuck you have to floor it everywhere resulting in not good fuel consumption.
- it could be a girl toy and you're right, but anyway the freelander is nice, as the Q5 X3 XC60.. ect. And many men drives it. So... The range rover classic is nice too :). Depends on what you want ride every day :) if i could it'll be a ghost, but respect these girls on evoque :D
